The Wilmer Grist Mill Mural is a 4' × 12' work of art created by the students of Radcliffe Creek School. Painted on transportable panels, the project was created by RCS K–8 students from seven Maryland counties at the school’s campus in Chestertown.. The painting is based on historical records, drawings, and photographs and depicts the mill - which existed in the woods behind the kids - as it appeared around 1750, when it was an important part of the region’s agricultural infrastructure.. The mural is currently on display along the Wayne Gilchrest Rail Trail in Chestertown.
